Castles / Château
"Houses a collection of arms, armours and torture tools of the Middle Ages."

Dating back to the Middle Ages, the Gravensteen was the castle of the count. It was bought and restored by the city of Ghent in the 19th century. Don't be fooled by its modest street view side with the cross. The Gravensteen castle is massive as it stretches in the back by the water. It also houses a collection of arms, armours and torture tools of the Middle Ages, if you decide to pay €8 and enter.
