Top things to do in Rome

As it turns out, trying to make a list of the top things one can do in Rome, creates a big, loud, Italian mess! There is a reason it used to be called Roman Empire. An empire requires infrastructure, culture, art, sports, religion to go along with a spectacular nation. And it is all there. In one city. The whole city of Rome is an outdoor museum. Everywhere you look there is a glorious building, a monument a flashback in the city's history. Most of them are awe inspiring, capturing the wealth and power enjoyed by the Romans. What a heritage!

Got a coin and a wish to spare? Do visit the stunningly beautiful Fontana di Trevi. Wanna catch a glimpse of the glorious past of the eternal city? Take a tour at the momumental Colosseum. And if you want to keep all the gods happy, pay a visit to the Pantheon, an awe inspiring structure dedicated to all gods.

Shopping is, simply put, out of this world. All the major brands, especially the Italian ones, are here. An elite shopper's paradise, with a price tag that is. Look for Via dei Condotti and Via del Corso.

To sum it all up, everybody should do this city once. It is like walking through a colorful encyclopedia.
