"Noticeable from a mile, houses Michaelangelo's Madonna and Child."

Bruges' Church of Our Lady is not only a massive structure noticeable from a mile away, it also houses the famous sculpture by Michelangelo, "Madonna and Child". For a small fee you can get inside and enjoy the masterpiece.

It dates back to the 13^th century and its tower stands tall at 122.3 meters height. The Bruges Church of Our Lady is, by the way, the second tallest brickwork tower in the world (the tallest is St. Martin's Church in Landshut, Germany).
