"No visit to NYC is complete without a trip to The Statue"

A gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of United States, the Statue of Liberty is a universal symbol of democracy and freedom. She represents a Roman goddess, holding a torch above her head with her left hand, while the other hand carries a tablet with the date of the U.S. Declaration of Independence.

If 354 stairs sounds like a day's workout, the Statue of Liberty's crown has a breathtaking eagle’s view from above. Or if you just want to see it from a distance, you can catch the free ferry.
