"After the tragedy, hope."

The National September 11 Memorial & Museum is located at the World Trade Center site, the former location of the Twin Towers that were destroyed during the September 11 attacks.

Through exhibitions and commemorations, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum remembers and honours the 2,983 people killed in the horrific attacks of September 11, 2001, as well as those who risked their lives to save others.

The massive hole in the center of the water fountain is devastating to watch and commemorates the tragedy and the loss.

The yellow roses on some of the names, are an emotional remembrance of the birthdays of the people who lost their lives.
