"3,500 original works by Picasso but not all the famous ones."

His name is synonymous with ingenious artwork and this is a place to get a large dosage of just that. Picasso Museum is unique because it was created while the artist was still alive in 1963, and is kinda of dedicated to his relationship with Barcelona.

3,500 original works by Picasso, but not all the famous ones, are housed here, in five adjoining medieval palaces in La Ribera, Bari Gothic (Gothic Quarter). In order to admire the extensive collection, which includes The First Communion (1896), and Science and Charity (1897), you have of course pay an entrance fee (around 10 euro) ang get the audio guide as well. It does not however include his most famous work such as Quernica. As with almost every highly tourist attraction, go early to avoid long lines.
