"A privately owned church at the wine producing village of Saint-Emillion."

Saint-Emilion Monolithic Church was built in the 12th century on a rock hillside, therefore part of it is underground. Its bell tower stands 53m high which can be spotted from far. You can take a tour for €7 at this privately owned church, in the wine producing village of Saint-Emilion. But you may not take pictures.

Note for the ladies: The church and the whole village of Saint-Emilion are not recommended if you are wearing high heels, as there are some steep paths.
