"Tourist restaurant situated on the steep cobble stone streets of St Emilion"

A stop over to St Emilion is a must, as this tiny yet popular wine making village oozes history. There are a lot of visitors during high season and a few restaurants, including the historic Logis De La Cadene. The restaurant is ideally situated in one of the cobble stone streets of the village. Watch your step though while walking the steep narrow streets, downhill to the restaurant.

The Logis De La Cadene offers lunch in a traditional setting. On the day of the visit the Salmon which was really fresh and well prepared and the Rabits’ Kidney salad were good choices.

However, the Poellee Gambas, which were 4 small shrimps, were floating in an abundance of fresh cream and the tuna cake was just canned tuna wrapped in pastry.

Service was adequate.
