The location of Hotel Alimandi is unbeatable. It is right outside the Vatican Museum Gate. You can take advantage of that if you want to get inside the Vatican, only if you book your tickets from the internet a week before. Otherwise you just got yourself a front row seat to a really long queue.
The hotel is small and simple with good service on the day of the visit. All 3 receptionists we encountered were very helpful, explaining everything we needed to know about getting around. Big plus.
The room decorated in classic style, was quite large with all the basics and very clean. Bathroom was shiny clean and comfortable, even though the way the glass is placed, allows the water to spill out of the tab...
