"It is a rough ride with breathtaking views."

The unspoiled land of Akamas is one of the few remaining nature reserves in Cyprus. It is a rough ride for four wheel drive vehicles only and it is quite dangerous as well. However, the Akamas peninsula can be reached by boat or by a milder road via the area of Lara. Needless to say that it is rich in geological formations, flora and fauna. Not to mention the breathtaking views of the mountains and the Mediterranean sea. Make sure you don't miss the gorgeous beach of Blue Lagoon and the mountain pick of Fontana Amorosa.
