A short 20’ drive from Carcassone, you will find a small village called Limousis. Not Limouzine where the famous steaks take their name. This village is famous for a unique site; its caves called Grotte de Limousis.
Although you cannot tell by its entrance, be prepared for an out of this world experience. Once in the Limousis caves, you will be surrounded by millions of sparkling cave rocks and crystal formations with stalagmites.
The cave is divided in 7 sections, including a ball room and at the end there is a multimedia presentation with lights and music.
Ticket costs €7 and it includes a guided tour.
