"Due to their steep landscape, the fab Italian villages are not easy to spot"

Comprising of the five beautiful Italian villages Monterosso (famous for its anchovies), Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola και Riomaggiore, Cinque Terre occupies a small part of the Italian Riviera (or coastline).

The national park Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre as it is called, is protected as UNESCO World Heritage Sites and they are difficult to navigate by car. However, the unspoiled land and magnificent beaches can be reached easily by boat on a Boat Tour or by train.

Good option is to drive to La Spezia and leave the car there. From there on get on the train. The trains schedules are extensive and can take you to and from major cities such as Milan, Rome, Turin and Tuscany. If you really want to drive there, try to drive to Vernazza but keep in mind it is rough and leads only half way there.

Due to their steep landscape, the villages are not easy to reach unless you know where you are going...
