"A tall, impressive castle - mausoleum - fortress - museum."

The presence of the tall castle, which is actually the Mausoleum of Hadrian, is almost surreal. Especially at night when it is so beautifully led. Of course, Castel Sant’Angelo is located in Rome, with all its magnificent structures, so it does not get the attention it deserves.

Castel Sant’Angelo was also used as a fortress and castle for the pope, but nowadays it is just a museum. Even though it requires some rough walking, you can get some panoramic views of the city.

You can get in using your Roma Pass.
