"The Pamplona church was not built to wow people."

The church of San Saturnino was not built to wow people, rather it has a more subtle exterior character. It dates back to the 6th century while it was restored to its current Provençal-Romanesque style in 1119. It also houses a Baroque Chapel of the Virgen del Camino. Inside the church notice the colorful and dramatic statues adorning the walls.
