Interesting areas, Tourist areas
"The old town attracts thousands of tourists who flood the Pintxos"

San Sebastian's old town attracts thousands of tourists who flood the local tapas bars or Pintxos as they call them. Some of them are really good, offering high quality small tapas and some of them are very touristic. Beyond Pintxos, the Basque coastal city has a few other things to explore if you are in the area.

It is a resort area and a lot of visitors from around the world make the tiny streets of Parte Vieja appear very crowded. There are two parishes in Parte Vieja, which refer to the respective churches of  Santa Maria and San Vicente and a small picturesque harbor with fishing boats.
