"The 'Erection of the Cross' by Anton Van Dyck is located there."

Originally built in the 13^th century, the Kortrijk Church of Our Lady was part of the first Kortrijk castle. There used to be a bad reminder of the Battle of the Golden Spurs in 1302... 500 replica Golden Spurs of killed French knights hung on its ceiling. Some artwork worth mentioning is the alabaster statue of Saint Catherina, the late baroque altar and the painting "The Erection of the Cross" by Anton Van Dyck.
