"Two stars sitting on top of the Eze hilltop castle!"

Hidden inside the historic castle of Eze area, Chateau de la Chevre d’Or is a seasonal 2 Michelin star restaurant. It is spread over 2 storeys with views (better enjoyed during the day) of the Cote d Azur.

On the day of the visit we had the short degustation menu for €220 while the longest version was priced at €280. We also had a great Medoc wine priced at €90 which is hard to find at this price in this area.

Among others in our menu we enjoyed pigeon, langustines, gambieri, and a very special citrus - jasmine infusion from the gardens. Everything was well prepared and suitable for the 2 star level.

Service was very friendly and professional.

Note the getting to the restaurant can be a bit challenging on high heels as it requires some steep, hill-side walking on stone cobbled streets.
