2023 August Update: This is a must experience in Athens. Michelin Star restaurant Spondi, features a value for money fine dining exploration menu. Food was bursting with Umami flavours, masterful presentations and originality! Crab, Foie-gras, Patagonia Cod, duck, desserts with sesame and black garlic, these dishes were so impressively unique! Can’t wait to return and see Spondi earn back its second star!
2022 Update: Spondi currently holds 1 Michelin Star and Arnaud Bignon is back. Its menu features a quality but less adventurous menu compared to other local venues. Service is still extraordinary and the whole experience is still wonderful.
2016 Review: We visited Spondi twice in the past. Both times we left feeling astonished that this level of cooking was taking place in Greece. It was happy times when Spondi went from 1 Michelin star to 2. But then, there were some changes going on...
