Situated inside a renovated villa near the Meossmer fabric factory, in a quiet neighbourhood, Atelier Moessmer Norbert Niederkofler is anything but ordinary. The renovated villa oozes history and its new attached open kitchen is a dream for any chef of this calliber.
On the day of the visit, a Saturday lunch service in December 23, ithe place was almost full. The only option was the Mountain menu for €290 but they did cater for a young visitor with steak and potatoes, both perfect.
We started with various nibbles near the fireplace and from the degustation menu we had a Winter Salad, Zander fish, knocchi, duck and puff pastry with desserts. We finished with Petit fours back at the fireplace.
Atelier Moessmer is a new restaurant but the chef held and curried forward his 3 stars from a previous hotel location...
