A buzzing contemporary, fine dining venue, Heunisch und Erben combines a lot of elements that are essential for a restaurant's success in an urban landscape... a beautiful space, a smart menu, a great kitchen, efficient service, reasonable pricing, and a funky vibe.
On the day of the visit, a Thursday March 23 dinner service, almost all of the above was there.
We tried everything from the short, adventurous menu. Although some fine tuning in terms of flavours seemed to be needed, we experienced the technical skills needed for this level of cooking. Some of the dishes were more successful than others, but overall it was quality, restaurant food.
Service was friendly but a lot of people needed to be served.
