The popular restaurant Miroir attracts all sorts of crowds, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Service was relying on a couple of young girls who were trying to get everything right, but it was slow.

The food at Miroir was rustic French. On the day of the visit we had the foie which came with all its veins still attached to it (they are supposed to be removed before cooking) and was served with an inedible bitter jam. We also had fried brains which we loved, and oyster tartar which was mixed with a lot of avocado.

For mains we had the wild pork which was delicious but its side veggies which were Brussels sprouts were overcooked. And there was way too much lard on it. A different dish was a pork chop with beans which was ok. The chocolate ganash at the end had a cracking effect in the mouth (yes like the kids candy) but it was a good choice. So was the coffee with the accompanied petite four and mousse...
