German discipline at its finest, commanding 3 stars. Well deserved ones. Nothing more, nothing less. It is so detailed, so perfect you will be admiring their patience and wondering how they did that.

A touch of molecular elements, a shy game of appearances accentuate the distinctive flavors, yet take nothing away from the nature of them.

Joachim Wissler runs the kitchen at restaurant Vendome. A chef with three stars in his pocket yet looks so relaxed and easy going. His work is immaculate, the environment supports his dishes, and service is perfect. He has been working at Vendome for 13 years and has kept its three stars for the last 4. Currently number 10 in the world in a popular ranking list.
