Located on a steep hill on the Amalfi Coast, Hotel Santa Caterina is a classic hotel with stunning, unobstructed sea views.
One of its most unique features, is the elevator lifting guests up and down the sea level, where there are sun beds on the rocks by the sea.
Some rooms come with a little balcony, which is perfect for unwinding and sea watching even if it is facing sideways, which was on the day of our visit. Some of the rooms have traditional Italian ceramic tiles adding to the charm of the building. However, they are simple with basic furnishings, not emphasizing on luxury...
