Chef Peter Goossens
Peter Goossens created Hof Van Cleve from scratch in 1992. His restaurant's premises actually used to be a farm.

Belgian born and raised, this chef worked in Paris before settling down in Kruishoutem. He is a tall and impressive man and you can tell from his appearance that he means business. 

On the day of the visit to Hof Van Cleve, he was kind enough to come out of the kitchen and take some pictures with us, but we didn't get a chance to say much.

Peter Goossens is a solid, fine chef, who managed to create this exceptional establishment out of thin air.
